Landmark Buildings

Gavā has a rich architectural heritage, from Roman times to the first half of the 20th century

In some cases, all that is left of these buildings are their ruins; in others, only their use has changed, as they are now cultural, administrative or religious buildings or private homes. All of them are included in the Pla Especial de Protecciķ i Catāleg del Patrimoni Arquitectōnic de Gavā (Special Plan for the Protection and Cataloguing of Gavā’s Architectural Heritage).

The buildings are: the Eramprunyā Castle, the Sant Miquel d’Eramprunyā Hermitage, Can Dardena, the Mare de Déu de Bruguers Hermitage, Can Rosés, Casa Gran, Can Lluc, Can Ribes, Casa Planes i Crehuet, the Casal del Centre, Torre de l’American Lake, the Salvador Lluch school, the Bōbila athletics stadium chimneystack, the town hall, Ca n’Amat, Can Tintorer, Can Llong, the railway station, the Roca Radiadores S.A. company building, and the buildings around Carrer de Cap de Creus.
