A centre for the elderlyt

This eclectically inspired building is on Carrer del Centre and was inaugurated as the Casal del Centre in 1890. It stands on the street corner and consists of a ground floor, now a café, and first floor with a theatre and small colonnade. In 1939 it became the offices of the Spanish Falange party.

The council took possession of the building for public use in 1993, turning it into the first public social club for elderly people in Gavà.
