The building is now a public centre

This is a municipal cultural centre in the Passatge de l´American Lake. The building, dating from 1898, according to the engraving on the façade is detached, with a ground floor, first floor and attic. It has a higher central section, with a square floor plan.

The Torre de l´American Lake was part of a leisure complex, built between 1917 and 1918 in a medieval-inspired eclectic style, which was later demolished in 1942. The building was redesigned in the 90´s, preserving the balcony railings and the lowered concave lintel arches on the main door and the balconies. It is now a listed building.
