The complex was rebuilt in the 18th century

This is a listed group of buildings on the crossroads between Camí de la Sentiu and Camí de Can Dardena. The first mention of this site, a privately owned farmhouse and its accompanying buildings, dates back to the 12th century under the original name Mas de la Sentiu.

Can Dardena is a group of buildings built around a courtyard, on a small hill overlooking the Canyars watercourse. These characteristics, together with the small windows, suggest that it served a defensive purpose. The modern buildings are the result of extensive remodelling in the 18th century.
