The Mare de Déu de Bruguers Hermitage
A building with a single nave
This is a listed religious building dating back to the 11th century, located next to the Carretera de Begues, at the foot of the hill on which Eramprunyà castle stands. Originally, it was probably the Sant Martí chapel, later to become the Santa Magdalena del Sitjar chapel and, from 1509, the Mare de Déu de Bruguers chapel.
It mixes Romanesque and Gothic elements in a building raised around a single nave with a semi-circular apse, barrel vault, V-shaped roof and four side chapels.
