La Casa Gran
Located right in the heart of the Gavą old town
This is a publicly owned building, now used by a youth club. The building, in the Carrer Major, dates back to the 16th century, although it was extensively rebuilt in the 17th and 19th centuries. As a listed building, Casa Gran has a trapezoidal floor plan, and consists of a ground floor with two more floors above that. The main doorway is built out of red slate.
The faēades are extremely flat and the openings on the ground floor have undergone major modifications. Although originally an isolated building, the town has grown steadily around it.
