Casa Planes i Creuhet
An example of sophisticated urban architecture from the 19th century in Gavą
This three-storey building is on the corner of Carrer de Salvador Lluch and the Plaēa Major. It was built in 1859 and includes the most characteristic elements of neoclassical architecture. The faēades consist of three identical modules and frame a base, the ground floor, and a central body of two further floors, clearly differentiated from the ground floor by a line of balconies and an entablature.
The neoclassical style is emphasised by the formal elements. This listed building incorporates the Passatge Rambles, which leads to the municipal market.
