More than 100 activities for young and old bring a festival atmosphere to the streets of Gavà

The Gavà Festa Major d'Estiu takes place around the 29th June, Saint Peter´s day, the towl's patron saint. The programme, drawn up by the Patronal Municipal de Serveis Comunitaris (Municipal Community Services Board) of Gavà town council, includes a wide range of shows, concerts and activities, in which many of the towl's numerous associations are represented. Together with the Festa, the Semana de la Gent Gran (Old People´s Week) is held, a popular event organised specifically for the elderly.

The start of the five days' Festa Major is marked by the eagerly awaited fireworks display on the beach. This is the prelude to over 100 activities held on 20 different stages, aimed to satisfy people of all ages.
