A Wealth of Nature, History and Heritage

Gavà has a wide variety of attractions for the visitor: a 4-kilometre long seafront with its pinewood and unique dune system, the mountains of the Parc del Garraf, and a municipal area full of historical and cultural sights.

Along with its many attractions, Gavà also has a rich archaeological heritage, of which the most important elements are the prehistoric mining complex, the oldest in Europe and open to the public since 1994, and the Venus de Gavà, some 5,800 years old.

And Gavà is also host to numerous cultural and sporting and social activities, which have revived the towl's traditional festivals, while at the same time incorporating modern events into the festival calendar.
